Beginner's Guide

Welcome to OrientWar! This guide will help you get started with your adventure.

Before you start, check the experience stages, the server information and the game rules.

First, download the OrientWar client for Windows. Extract the ZIP file completely into a folder and start OrientWar.exe. The server address is already set, and the client updates itself every time it starts.

Create your account and your first character on our website. You'll need:

• A valid email address (you log in with it, not with your character name)
• A strong password
• A unique character name

Every new account gets 7 days of premium time for free.

You choose your vocation when you create your character. OrientWar has no Rookgaard: every character starts at level 8 in the temple of Thais with equipment for its vocation.

Your adventure begins in Thais:

• Near the temple you find a banker (Naji), food (Frodo), weapons and armor (Sam), potions and runes (Xodet) and tools (Gorn).
• Use your Adventurer's Stone inside a temple to travel to the Adventurers' Guild.
• Hunt rats below Thais and wolves and trolls around the city; later rotworms and orcs.

• Always bring supplies (potions, runes) when hunting
• Players below level 20 cannot attack or be attacked by other players
• Up to level 50 you keep all blessings for free; after that type !bless
• Join a guild to make friends and get help
• Ask in the Help channel or in the chat of your language
• The server saves and restarts every day at 06:00 server time
